Green is the New Black
By Revanth BANALA NITHYANANDAM (Hall 10)
Just imagine you wake up one day, find that all the green around you has vanished! This could be the worst thing to imagine. What if there were no trees, plants, grass or in fact the greenery around you? I don’t think us as human beings or to that matter any animal would survive the situation. It is our first and foremost duty to respect the green nature around us and protect it. Many human activities of the modern day have exterminated the ‘green’ nature in many aspects. Chopping down the trees, removing plant belts or invasion of new ‘destructive’ species has resulted in a major damage that is increasing at an alarming rate. We must sympathize on the trees and the other living beings who make their homes in these trees. It’s time to wake up and save the green nature around us before it’s too late.
