Do you leave your room with lights off or close your laptop when not in use? Do you walk or take public transportation for short travel? Save water when you take shower or only obtain things of your interest in appropriately ways? If you do, YOU are on the way to be a socially responsible student! In simple words, being socially responsible means taking decisions respecting our society and others’ rights. As students, we can contribute to the society with little things such as turning off lights when going out, keeping quiet at late night or following rules and regulations in our daily life. As we individuals are responsible for our actions starting in our residence halls, the society will surely be more peaceful and nicer.
