It is definitely not queer if you are being asked – “Who are you?” You get this question a lot: in job interviews, meeting new friends… but have you thought of this question in more depth? Who are you, to be honest?

Who we are, is in any one moment, what we think of ourselves. Influenced by our occupation, interest, hobbies, core values, friends and families, and even how we see ourselves in relation to others, and etc. Some might even think that all the choices that you made in the past years defined you, or should I say, constraint you.

However, people change all the time. Don’t let the past drag you behind, or let others hinder your decision. Never be scared to follow your dreams, nor hide who you long to be. There are different opportunities for you to try, to explore every single day. It is always up to what you want to do, and to show the world the real you.

But still, it is always good to prepare a mini speech for self-introduction when someone asks you “Who are you?” – You just don’t have to define yourself, or let others define you. The best thing you can do, is simply be true to yourself.
