[A Taste of Hong Kong]

Hong Kong is an international city which are reflected in various areas. Food is one of them. When strolling along the streets in Hong Kong, you can found various sorts of food which includes not only different kinds of traditional Chinese food, but also Asian and Western food in various styles. The most praiseworthy one is traditional Hong Kong food.

In the morning, you can take a sip of Hong Kong silky milk tea, have a bite of pineapple bread and order a bowl of instant noodles. At midnight, you can have a gathering with several friends in a Dai Pai Dong and experience the taste of old Hong Kong as depicted from movies. If you have a sweet tooth, you can also order a bowl of chilled mango soga with pomelo to relieve thirst and fatigue or ginger milk pudding to dispel cold and warm the stomach. If you are too busy, Hong Kong-style fast food restaurants which can be found everywhere are decent choices, too. Traditional Hong Kong food is not only an image from our childhood Hong Kong dramas and movies, but also in the world around us. What are you planning to eat today?

香港常被稱作「國際都市」,其國際性體現在方方面面,自然也少不了美食。漫步香港街頭,無論是天南地北的傳統中式美食,還是風格各異的亞洲風味、西式佳餚,各式美味隨處可尋。其中,最值得稱道的莫過於道地的香港傳統美食。

 

清晨,在某個茶餐廳抿一口幼滑的絲襪奶茶,咬一口酥脆鬆軟的菠蘿包,再來一份「出前一丁」;深夜,約上三五好友去大牌檔聚餐,感受港片中的老香港風味;如若嗜甜,還可以在港式甜品店來一份楊枝甘露解渴消勞,或者薑汁撞奶散寒暖胃。如果實在繁忙,隨處可見的港式快餐也是不錯的選擇。傳統的香港美食不僅在童年港片港劇中,更在我們身邊,今天你打算吃什麼呢?
